The 79th Independence Day of our nation was celebrated in our school with immense patriotic fervor and unity of spirit. The day began with the Flag Hoisting Ceremony, led by our esteemed Chief Guests, Mr.Rajesh Ajwani and Jyoti Ajwani, proud parents of our SSC topper Mehak Ajwani, along with the Guest of Honour, Rev. Sr. Aurelia. As the tricolour soared high, the school band and NCC cadets presented an impressive band display and parade, evoking deep pride in every heart.
This year’s theme, “Honouring Freedom, Inspiring Future”, was beautifully brought alive through a soulful Prayer Service, expressing gratitude to our freedom fighters and seeking blessings for a brighter tomorrow. The programme continued with an inspiring speech, melodious patriotic songs, and vibrant dance performances, each portraying the essence of unity in diversity.
A proud moment was the felicitation of SSC students who scored above 90%, with special recognition for Mehak Ajwani. This was followed by the Prize Distribution Ceremony for winners of various school competitions conducted during the academic year so far .Scholarships were also awarded to meritorious and deserving students, recognising their talent, hard work, and perseverance.
